Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Roguelike Golf (by Touch Grass) and its companion website at grl.iskall85.com (collectively, "the App"). The App is operated by Viktor Lindgren.

Short version

The App does not collect data by default. Session data lives on your device unless you choose to export it or create a replay link.

What we collect

By default, nothing is sent to us. The App contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no telemetry, no crash reporting that we control, and no user accounts.

If you choose Create replay link, the App uploads the round replay JSON to our server so that the replay can be opened later from a link. This replay may include player names or nicknames, modifiers, scores or scoring notes, and gameplay history. Replay links are unlisted but can be opened by anyone who has the link.

What is stored on your device

The App stores your active golf session — players, modifiers, history, sound preference — in your device's local storage (or the equivalent on iOS / Android). This data does not leave your device unless you choose to export it as a JSON file or create a replay link.

Replay links

Replay links are optional and are used only for app functionality: letting you or your editor replay a saved round. We do not use replay data for advertising, tracking, analytics, or profiling.

Replay links automatically expire and are deleted from our server after 60 days. Do not create a replay link if you do not want the player names or nicknames in that round to be stored temporarily on our server.

Third parties

• We do not sell or share replay data with third parties.
• If you install the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms may collect their own platform-level data (install counts, device class, crash reports, etc.) under their respective privacy policies. That collection is governed by Apple's and Google's terms, not by us.
• The App loads Google Fonts (Fredoka, Luckiest Guy) from fonts.googleapis.com for typography. Google may log standard request information when fonts are fetched, per Google's Privacy Policy.

Children

The App is intended for general audiences. It contains no chat, social, or networked features. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Data deletion

Local App data lives in your device's local storage. To delete it: tap "New Session" inside the App to wipe the current session, or uninstall the App entirely to remove everything.

Replay links are automatically deleted after 60 days. If you need a replay link deleted sooner, contact us with the replay code.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated text will appear on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
